Rohub Ensemble at Rozsa Centre

Originally from Vancouver, Tom Mirhady has degrees from McGill (B.Mus.) and Juilliard (M.Mus.).
He was a member of the Calgary Philharmonic 1979-2018. Before joining the CPO in 1979 he was a member of the Edmonton Symphony, and played with the Vancouver Symphony during the 85-86 season. He has performed chamber music most years in Calgary, including solo recitals and much of the trio repertoire with the Springbank Trio. He was a member of Kensington Sinfonia and played concerts in recent seasons with Rohub Persian Music.
He launched an adult symphony appreciation courses for the Calgary Board of Education and University of Calgary, taught at the Suzuki Talent Education Society and continues to teach privately, at the MRU Conservatory and the Amici Strings Program.
Dmitry Nesterov arrived on the Canadian music scene in 1992 when he became a Laureate in the first Esther Honens Calgary International Piano Competition. Since settling in Canada with his family in 1994, Mr. Nesterov has impressed audiences, critics and colleagues alike with concert and recital work. He has appeared as a soloist with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Edmonton Symphony, the Lethbridge and Red Deer Symphonies as well as with numerous orchestras in Russia.
Mr. Nesterov is a frequent guest at the Banff Arts Festival and the Mozart Festival in Kelowna, BC, and has collaborated with the Alberta Ballet, New Works Calgary, the St. Lawrence String Quartet, flutist Patrick Gallois, pianist John Kimura Parker, and conductors Hans Graf, Mario Bernardi, Claue Lapalme, Kirk Muspratt, Jean Larouge, Alex Pauk, Bernard Labadie, Sara Jobin. He can be heard on CBC Radio.

Nicolai Nesterov also joint Rohub in 2018 at a cancer treatment fundraiser event. This year he comes to Rohub with solo and some group performances. Here is the link to some of his videos.
Dr. Janet Youngdahl has been Rohub appearing in many concerts as soprano soloist. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Lethbridge, active as a soprano, academic, and choral conductor. Beside Rohub she has toured with the ensemble for medieval music Sequentia throughout Europe and North America. Here is a link to her first concert with Rohub in 2006
Ryan Adib, the youngest member of Rohub Ensemble, is joining Rohub with a couple of solo Piano pieces. He recently finished First Class Honors Level 7 Royal Conservatory of Music. Here is a video of him performing last year with Rohub.
